The existing property had a substantial non habitable loft space that through conversion would create the additional space required by our client’s young family.
Our services included the design and detail of new structure, including roof members and steel work within first floor depth, to allow for the conversion of an existing attic store into habitable space without removing the roof. Existing floor joists were required to be checked and strengthened in locations to accommodate the increased imposed loads.
A vaulted single storey dining extension, including a steel frame gable was also included, as well as a remote garage.
During the course of the works, we were requested to design a solution for the surface water drainage for the property following localised flood event.
