This project included a single storey extension to rear, a first floor extension over existing garage flat roof and various internal alterations including new staircase and revised layout.
This created a more practical family home with an additional bedroom, 3 ensuite facilities (one being a jack and jill bathroom) and study at first floor. At ground floor the rear of the property was opened up to link the new extension and create an open plan kitchen, dining and snug area. The existing garage which was seldom used for vehicle parking was divided to create a utility room and storage garage.
The existing mansard roof was mirrored for the first floor extension over the garage and the whole property was externally insulated achieving a well-balanced and fresh look to the property.
